NorthCAD-3D is a design and modeling program for creating, viewing, and
editing three-dimensional objects and images in full color. Completely
menu driven, the program can perform a variety of design and viewing
tasks, and is easy to learn and use. Drawings may be created from any
viewpoint, moved in any direction, and scaled along any axis.
Drawing units and rotation increments are user-selectable, and includes
Absolute or Relative coordinate display functions. Pan and Zoom commands
also enable specific sections of a drawing to be worked on in greater
detail. On EGA and VGA systems, drawings may be created in 16 colors, an
can be interactively selected from a 64 color palette. NorthCAD-3D comes
along with a 170 page manual that contains a tutorial on the program.
A feature that would take this program from being merely good to
excellent is the ability to print the created images. As it stands now,
you need to do a print screen, or use a image capture program to print
the designs.
